WHAT TO EXPECT IN COUNSELING FOR GRIEF AND LOSS

As you begin counseling for grief and loss, your therapist will want to hear more about your story, your loss, and the impact of your loss. We believe that loss is something that can be about anything–whether the death of a loved one, the loss of a dream/expectation, the loss of a relationship, etc. Your therapist may provide some psycho-educational resources around grief models. You and your therapist will work together to utilize your own strengths and coping skills as we process your loss together.
